Job Description
To provide confidential administrative support to the Director of Clinical Experiences along with comprehensive office and teacher program support to the Darden College of Education and Professional Studies.
Type of Recruitment
Knowledge, skills and abilities
Working knowledge of administrative fiscal support, front office practices and general equipment operations. Considerable knowledge of excellent customer service and problem resolution techniques. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint) and general knowledge of databases and/or information systems. Excellent oral and written communication skills. Excellent organization and time management skills. Strong data entry skills. Strong proofreading skills to include the ability to pay close attention to detail. Demonstrated ability to work as part of a team and work with minimal supervision. Demonstrated ability to manage files, schedules and clerical procedures. Demonstrated ability to handle multiple projects and priorities. Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality in handling student affairs. Demonstrated ability to exercise good judgment in addressing problems and resolving issues.

Some experience working with sensitive/critical information processing. Considerable clerical experience to include: drafting, formatting, keying, and proofing correspondence; data entry.

General knowledge of university and state practices and policies related to student services, travel, and working knowledge of fiscal and general office procedures to include working knowledge of information systems. Demonstrated ability to lead and direct the work of others.
Conditions of Employment
This is an on-campus position, 8 hours per day Monday- Friday, 8 a.m.- 5 p.m. At most, one day per week may be telework.
Annual Salary/Hourly Rate
Salary commensurate with education and experience
