Full-Time | Monday–Friday | $15–$18/hr | No Nights or Weekends

We’re looking for someone who enjoys helping others and wants a job where they can stay and grow.
Our locally owned optometry office in Elko, Nevada is hiring a full-time Optometric Technician to join our close-knit team. The role isn’t overly technical—we’ll train you—but it does require someone who is friendly, organized, and takes pride in doing things right.

What You’ll Be Doing

You’ll help patients feel comfortable and cared for throughout their visit. You’ll:

• Welcome and prepare patients for eye exams

• Run basic tests like visual acuity and depth perception

• Explain how to care for contact lenses and glasses

• Keep patient records neat and accurate using our electronic system

• Help the office run smoothly by being a reliable team player

What We’re Looking For

We don’t expect you to have optometry experience—just a positive attitude and a willingness to learn. Ideal candidates:

• Are warm and people-friendly, even under pressure

• Like routines, checklists, and staying organized

• Can keep calm and clear-headed in a busy setting

• Want to stay with a company long-term

• Live in (or have ties to) the Elko area

Experience in retail, customer service, or healthcare is a plus—but not required.
