Electronic Security Technician

Allied Security Systems, LLC, an established Lynchburg /Campbell County, VA, security business for over 50-years, is seeking an experienced electronic security technician for immediate employment.

Qualifications: current driver’s license and a good driving record; professional appearance; good communication skills to document work and professionally interact with clients; the ability to work with minimal supervision after an orientation period; and possess a current Virginia DCJS Registration or ability to qualify for registration.

Primary Responsibilities: Local/regional travel in a company vehicle for service and installation of electronic security equipment, including burglar alarms, access control systems, security cameras, and other low voltage equipment. To do so will require using meters, power tools, working from ladders, roof tops, crawl spaces, cellars, lifts, bucket trucks and programming systems and software.

The primary work hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m. Benefits are based on length of service with the company. Compensation commensurate with experience.
